Gamelan Semara Winangun

Performances

Over the years we have played many solo gigs, performed with dancers, collaborated with other musicians, and given workshops to introduce people to gamelan. Taking our bulky, fragile instruments on the road is not particularly easy but we have played road gigs in places like Toronto, Deep River, and Vankleek Hill. We love playing this beautiful music for people and we rarely turn down a gig!

We always post information about upcoming gigs to our website and we also send the information to the Ottawa World Music Yahoo group.
